Hi!
My name is Cindy and I have been have kidney pains for over a
year now. It first started with a serious kidney infection, which
I was given for. This cleared it up for about 4 weeks and it
happened again. This went on for 8 months, I would get sick -
get antibiotics full circle again. My doctor sent me for tests
and to a kidney specialist. Nothing -- they say I am fine. I
finally got to speak to a nurse who was concerned and she gave
my a diet. No - refined sugar - potatoes carrots - sweets - pop
- coffee - romaine lettuce - red meats - dairy - (expect cottage
cheese) I have even switched to cranberry capsules instead of
drinking juices. I have been following this for about 4 months
now and have not been getting antibiotics, and I am feeling better.
The pain feels like a broken rib, followed by a warming in my
back. Sometimes I get a feeling in my kidney, as if rubbing alcohol
is poured on a cut. Someday my stomach bloats and the pain is
intense enough that I do not want to touch my stomach, and going
to the bathroom hurts to push. I can gain 5 - 7 pounds in a day
and need to urine frequently.
Can anyone help? I know something is wrong with me, but the doctors
here have given up, saying nothing is wrong on my tests.

Thank You!
I would like to thank everyone for all the responses I have rec'd.
I never realized all the things that play a factor in to ones
health -- stress -- eating correct extra. I have started eating
proper, and getting the right nutrients, and taking the time
to heal my inner self also.
Thank you so much for listening....Love
Cindy I suffered
from the same problem for 5 years...lots of tests...etc...could
not find anything...went to Denmark for classes dealing with
my profession and right away the teacher said I had LOW ENERGY
in my kidneys. Most of my problems at the beginning happened
in the winter then as years passed were all year long as my kidney
energy got less. When my mother died of sudden kidney failure,
I knew I had to find out the answer. Since the doctors could
not come up with anything...I decided to take care of myself.
What I found out was that kidneys deal with communication. Our
emotions play a big role in loss of organ energy. I know it sounds
crazy, but it worked for me and I have not had any problems since
I changed my way of thinking. Since the kidneys deal with communication....I
began openingly communicating and not stuffing my feelings, but
of course I did it with "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE". My kidney
problems started when my husband began an affair. Even though
I was not aware of it consciously, sub-consciously I was...Communication
is important!!!! Again, emotions take away our organ energy when
it is negative...I am not at this time able to get into this
any deeper, but if you want to talk about it some more, please
email me at feetmetoo@aol.com. At this time I am in South Africa
teaching others what I have learned from this exact experience.
It is not crazy...believe me...I have been there.. Shellie...LMP, ARCB-Certified Reflexologist
ps...while working on the emotional end...I also received reflexology
sessions to help balance my kidneys....find one in your area.:-)
:-) Dear Cindy;
The antibiotics that you took pushed the pathology into deeper
layers and destroyed the beneficial flora in your digestive tract,
which is needed by the body to assimilate nutrients. So please
get a good type of acidophilus (one that is refrigerated when
you buy it) to repopulate the intestines with these friendly
organisms over the next few months...
About your conditions, you got plenty of valuable advice, but
it's all accompanied by question marks: maybe this will help,
maybe that will help, get these tests, get those tests.... The
problem is that the body does not work on 'maybe's. It functions
as a precision instrument and none of the MEDICAL tests will
unveil the CAUSES behind your condition. The causes may be on
the structural level (such as "torque" in the blood
vessels feeding the kidneys) or biochemical (such as toxic retention,
or allergy to something or deficiency of an amino acid) or traumatic
(such as injury that occurred within a few months prior to the
onset of this problem) or emotional (such as conflicts, shock,
anger, other negative emotions)or even spiritual (incompletion
in your life? past life issue?) etc. In chronic situations (such
as yours) there is always more than one factor involved. You
can do Holistic Testing (available in NYC)to uncover the exact
CAUSES of your condition and the ways of eliminating them (through
Quantum Therapy). HOLOGRAPHIC TESTING is the remote version of
the same. With
blessings for perfect health, Dr. Shoshana Margolin (MA, ND,
PMD, CCN) I had a
kidney transplant four years. Two years on Dialysis. Two years
of telling me nothing was wrong after many tests. Have you had
a creatine level blood test? That was one they had missed with
me. Have you had a Kidney Biopsy? I don't think they would do
one unless they had cause. Please see another doctor or get more
testing. I could have been treated to save my kidneys if they
had done more tests. take care,
gigi Cindy:
Have you tried to follow the blood type diet which determines
whether the foods you are eating are appropriate to your blood
type. The book Eat Right4your Type has helped many of my clients
to get better.
On the Kidney side alone you might benefit by the classic
kidney/bladder herbs Uva Ursi and Cranberry/Bucchu, also by drinking
cornsilk tea. On the acid/alkaline balance you might want to
add distilled water with Coral Calcium to your diet. Its a major
alkalizer with a solid mineral base that is easily bioavailable.
And in case you are drinking ice cold drinks or have any ice
with any of you drinks, or conversely anything really hot, switch
to room temperature only. Increase your water intake and go on
Celery/carrot juices, with a bit of ginger thrown in. Its important
to balance your sodium/potassium levels, at least thats what
it sounds like to me from such a distance with the minimal information
I do have. When you have pain, does a heat pack or hot water
bottle help?
Can you get seen by someone who practices Kiniesology or a
Homeopathic Doctor? Both practices are usually helpful in determining
problems. Be well, Henriette
Alban, N.D. When a person is not digesting
anything they eat, the body starts degenerating slowly.
We need to start making the body digest. I use Digestive Enzymes
and add some herbs. Once the body starts balancing, it will slowly
go back to normal. Bertha Maria
Dark To Cindy,
It may help you to do an herbal colon and kidney cleanse. Usually
when toxins get flushed out this way, the body can heal itself.
You can call 1-800-Herbdoc (1-800-437-2362 for a free catalog
of products. They are all made with purely organic wild harvested
herbs. Best wishes, Wendy Alpan,
N.D. I'm not sure where you are, but the
Mayo Clinic is known for its thorough and thoughtful workups
- there's nothing wrong with getting a second, third and even
fourth opinion. Sincerely, Jennifer
Trask, N.M.D., Scottsdale, AZ Cindy, I would
do a Parasite Cleanse, a Kidney Cleanse then a Liver Cleanse
in that order. Order products from www.drclark.net
. I sell her products and they are fantastic - her book is great
as well. Good luck Nancy Savinelli Dear
Cindy,
The kidneys are very important in water metabolism in both
eastern and western thought. The weight gain from water retention
needs to controlled through regulating kidney function. Diet
is helpful but should probably be supported by herbs. The fact
that western diagnostic tests prove negative is good news; that
means that it is an energetic blockage in the kidneys rather
than a physical one, a residual congestion from your infection.
Acupuncture is very effective in opening up blockages and highly
recommended for your case. Take
care, Angela Lee Chen, LAc Have you tried
Reflexology. The kidneys in Chinese Medicine are very powerful,
and you might do well with Acupuncture or Shiatsu. If you need
an explanation on these modalities let me know. Otherwise, give
it a try. Understand, that you will need a series of session,
because this has been an on going problem, and will not disappear
overnight. However, if a reflexology, acupuncture or shiatsu
doesn't improve your condition by the end of 5to6 sessions, than
see an OD. The nurse was correct with the diet she encouraged,
however, you need more. Chinese medicine gets to the root cause,
unlike conventional that just interferes' with the mechanism
of the condition or disease. The two methods will give you a
better chance at treating your aliment. Good Luck and God speed. Angie Merkiche, RN, RC, NCTMB
