Certainly colostrum has had many benefits.
The main benefits from colostrum are contained in the transfer
factors which actually transfer the mother's immunity to her
baby.
There are some potential problems with raw
colostrum. Some people have had allergic reactions, the bovine
growth hormones are not really good for people, it is more species
specific than the pure transfer factors, and is not well absorbed.
Pure transfer factors are non-allergenic, non-species specific,
and are well absorbed orally.
There is a lot of medilne research on transfer
factors. You can further your research at www.tf4health.com.
In summary, as good as colostrum has proven to be, transfer factors
seem to be better.
