- Certification as a "hands
on healer"

I have been trying
to find out how to obtain my certification as a "hands on
healer", I have learned from mentors, ministers, ect...My
dilema is I can not find an institution/or individual, who would
be able to give me certification with out going to their school.
I know I do not neet to attend a school to do what I do, and
I am already very knowledgable, does anyone hove any links, or
ideas??

| We all have our
special gifts and a part of a culture that has mandated "Specialty
Degrees", etc.If you present a "disclaimer" and
re-focus on your wording, you do not need a certificate. Ex:
Energy Guidance;barter and donations,(exclusive monetary exchange
politically denotes PROFESSIONAL services with "laws"
mandating certification. Community outreach for self-empowerment
ADVOCACY does not require institutional teaching-many wonderful
organizations, schools, etc. are offered and sharing their knowledge,
but for some, $ and relocation are criteria. Search your vision

I graduated from
the Jaffe Institute of Medical and Spiritual Healing and I am
a Certified Advanced Energy Healer. The School is the certifying
body. There is no other certification organizations except schools.
There is no license "to heal" that I am aware of. What
some individuals do is get a spiritual practitioners degree from
a church but I really don't know what that acheives.

To best answer this
question, please send a more detailed email. Here are a few questions:
1)What state do you reside in? Cert. requirements vary state
to state. 2) why do you need a cert.? 3) What type of hands on
healer are you---massage, reiki, energy, etc.Last, schools or
cert programs are granted cert. programs by each state and require
such programs to follow guidelines. Thus requiring some kind
of course work to meet those requirements. I know of some schools
that are online and will get you that info. Also, check out the
