Thank you. |

HairClean 1-2-3
is a wonderfully safe alternative since it is made up of natural
herbs and other ingredients. The parents and school nurses who
used it reported no side effects and, that in most cases it eliminated
the lice on the first try. Recommended: All Ages

Combine 1/2 tsp.
each of Eucalyptus, Pennyroyal and Rosemary. Then add 2 1/2 Tbl.
pure olive oil. An Adult needs to try the mixture on his/her
skin to make sure it doesn't burn. If it does, add more olive
oil. After washing your child's hair with very hot water (as
hot as the child can stand!)Comb the oil mixture through hair
with a regular comb (throw away kind) Then use a flea comb, comb
out any nits or eggs. Tie a cotton scarf around child's head
and leave on over night. It may tingle, but if it burns wash
out immediately and dilute the mixture and try again. The next
morning, wash hair with a good tea tree shampoo. This should
take care of the lice, however if necessary repeat the treatment.
To prevent lice (when it has been reported in your child's school)
rub tea tree oil or sassafras oil into the scalp.

A natural alternative
to killing head lice is to use mayonaise. Cover the entire scalp
and hair with mayonaise, cover with plastic wrap and leave on
about half an hour. Shampoo and remove all the nits or eggs.

| I found a non chemical solution
that worked for my daughter for whom we had tried at least 5
different "shampoos" (Australina and American. I used
a ROBI COMB. It runs on a AA batery, and buzzes until it electricutes
the lice. It is fantastic for treating long hair as the comb
is only run over the first inches of the hair. It's non invasive.
It can be used to check for lice too before the problem advances.I
can't recommend this item highly enough. I hope never to have
to use shampoos again that can't kill the lice, and maybe escalate
to stronger chemicals. rhoisin |

It is best to follow your doctors
advice as head lice can be a real problem. It is important not
leave the medication on longer than directed. Rx's or over the
counter treatments (chemicals) do work the best for this problem.
