Many times, in addition to emotional issues as have already
been described, food allergies can play a major part in psoriasis...
and in many cases, an entire family can be allergic to the same
foods/substances. Perhaps looking at an elimination diet would
help to reduce or eliminate your symptoms.

Ann,
Any type of skin eruption is an indication that the other avenues
of elimination are plugged up and unable to efficiently do their
job. This especially applies to the intestines. Because the built
up toxins have no place to go, they erupt through the skin. I
would do a thorough cleansing of each of the major systems, starting
with the intestines, then the liver, then the urinary, finishing
with the blood. This can be done quickly, although I recommend
it be done over a three month period using powerful herbal formulas.
I can direct you if you are interested. Also, I would recommend
alternating hot and cold hydrotherapy, which can be done in the
shower on the body areas. Three minutes as hot as you can stand,
switching to cold for one minute, alternating 3-4 times always
ending on cold. This will break the stagnant energy pattern.
An external application of Chickweed ointment will help with
the itching as your body cleanses. The only way I can see that
psoriasis could cause an ulcer is through the stress that this
condition can create. Wishing
you well, Sandra L. Schultz, M.H Are
you talking about a skin ulcer or a stomach ulcer? I have not
heard of psoriasis causing a stomach ulcer. Stomach ulcers are
caused by third chakra issues such as self esteem, the mechanism
for this is an infection with heliobacteria. Psoriasis is another
issue all together. Since it runs in families there is a genetic
predisposition. The main emotional issue is grief, hence the
common expression the heartbreak of psoriasis.
